Tonight at approximately 9pm, I received an email from the ESU2. They are following guidance from Three Rivers Health. The State of Nebraska has elevated the risk assessment this evening and therefore it has been recommended that ESU2 area schools close Monday, March 16 for approximately two weeks. As you know this is a fluid situation and will continue to be monitored moving forward.

This is unchartered territory for everyone involved and we will do our best to communicate through our traditional channels as we work to develop a remote instruction as well as a feeding program so we can continue to serve our students and families. All activities will also be suspended until further notice. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school.

I am truly sorry for this late notice as this situation continues to rapidly change.
