Oakland-Craig Public Schools received feedback from several individuals regarding the drafted Return to Learn Plan. In addition, the Board of Education went through each section of the plan and discussed adjustments based on the feedback we received. As a result, we have updated the Return to Learn Plan for the upcoming school year. Please note that this is subject to change and this is just the latest draft. We are closely monitoring guidance from the health departments and CDC and will adjust where needed. Our hope; however, is to begin the school year in green, operating close to normal. Again, this is the hope but things from the health department change often. I would like to also be completely transparent and note that recently the CDC has shifted their views on masking when indoors for even those that are vaccinated; however Governor Ricketts made a statement that we will not require masks in Nebraska. We are awaiting further guidance as to how to move forward but our hope is that masks won't be required for anyone.
