Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Board of Education of the School District of Oakland-Craig, in the County of Burt, in the State of Nebraska, a/k/a School District No. 014, has been scheduled on October 14, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Oakland-Craig Elementary Building at Oakland, NE, in the Board meeting room, which meeting will be open to the public.

Mr. Eisenmenger and Mrs. Pearson recently participated in a youth fishing instructor certification course through the Nebraska Game and Parks. Through this, Oakland Craig was gifted 15 fishing poles, supplies, and curriculum.

Due to the threat of heavy rains, the JH football game originally scheduled at West Point for Tuesday, Oct. 1, has been moved to THURSDAY, OCT. 3rd at 4:00PM.

Oakland-Craig fifth graders have been studying artist Vincent Van Gogh and his sunflower paintings. Van Gogh is well known for his vibrant colors and swirling brushstrokes.

The school track located at the city park will be closed until Friday, September 27th due to repair work from the flood. The new surface could easily be damaged until it has time to fully set up.Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
