Ellen brings 12 years of teaching experience from Tekamah-Herman, where she has worked with a variety of grade levels and built a strong foundation in supporting student success.

A proud Oakland-Craig alum, Ellen is already a familiar face in our community. Her husband, David Eriksen, serves as our PE teacher, and their children attend Oakland-Craig Elementary, making this a truly special homecoming.

📣 Welcome to Oakland-Craig Elementary, Mya Guzinski!

We are excited to welcome Mya Guzinski to the Oakland-Craig Elementary staff! Mya will be teaching 5th grade this upcoming school year.

Mya joins us from Logan View, where she also taught 5th grade, bringing valuable experience and a strong passion for student learning and growth. We are especially proud to welcome her back as an Oakland-Craig alum, making this a full-circle moment for both Mya and our community.

In addition to her classroom role, Mya will serve as the assistant girls basketball coach, working alongside her dad, Scott Guzinski, our head coach. We’re thrilled to have this dynamic duo leading our program!

This sweet boy celebrated his birthday with chocolate chip cookies, a game of musical chairs, singing and a lot of big smiles throughout the day! Happy Birthday Markus!

Due to slick roads and wintry weather conditions, Oakland-Craig will have a 10:00 late start on Monday, March 16th. There will be no AM preschool. Morning practices have been cancelled or postponed. O-C is still working with the NSAA regarding district speech details.
