OCPS is sad to announce the retirement of Señor Lundquist at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year. While he will be missed, we congratulate him and wish him well in retirement. As a result, OC is hiring a 7th-12th grade Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Help us spread the word!

Second grade has been studying fossils. Today they got to make their own "imprints" using play-doh.

🍂 Our elementary artists have been busy covering the school in all the gorgeous warm colors of autumn. From pumpkins to vibrant leaf collages, their creativity is absolutely glowing! ✨










We got on the 6-7 train today and celebrated the six seeeeventh day of school! Race to 67, read stories with 67 words, and wrote about why 6 is afraid of 7.

Did you know you can make art with cardboard and foam? 🤔
Our 7th grade artists do! Last week, they got scrappy and creative exploring printmaking by crafting their very own collagraph plates. Their mission was to capture the fluid, organic shapes of plants, resulting in amazing textured prints! This project taught them about positive/negative space and how materials influence texture.





Oakland-Craig Opening Knight Play Production Festival is tomorrow, Saturday, November 15th, in the high school gym!
