
Happy Birthday Dr.Seuss! We celebrated by eating green eggs and ham while listening to the story, making cat in the hat hats to record all of our Dr. Seuss books we read today, had a mystery reader (Miss. Guzinski) read us One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, solved Dr.Seuss story problems in math and played Dr. Seuss “I Spy”! What a day filled with reading!

It’s Read Across America week! The first and fourth graders enjoyed listening to their mystery readers this afternoon.

1st grades challenge: Can you work as a team to redesign a hat for Cat in the Hat—it must have 2 shapes, stripes, and be 8” tall!




The 4th through 6th grade science classes have been able to view some unique science materials on display. Here is a hologram of a toy frog made by concave mirrors.

Congrats to Lady Knights BB team on qualifying for state tournament. O-C will play at 2:00 vs. Clarkson-Leigh on Thursday March 5. Due to the 2:00 game time, O-C schools will be closed on Thursday, March 5th. March 6 is a scheduled winter break day off. Go Knights!!!
