Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Board of Education of the School District of Oakland-Craig, in the County of Burt, in the State of Nebraska, a/k/a School District No. 014, has been scheduled on August 14, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Oakland-Craig Elementary Building at Oakland, NE, in the Board meeting room, which meeting will be open to the public. The Oakland-Craig Public Schools Board of Education will meet on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 8 p.m. at Oakland-Craig Elementary for a board meeting. This meeting will be held at the Oakland-Craig Elementary Building at Oakland, NE, in the Board meeting room, which meeting will be open to the public. Among other topics to be discussed, pursuant to NEB. REV. STAT. § 79-3405, the Board will vote on whether to increase the school district’s base growth percentage by up to 7%. A copy of the agenda, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection in the superintendent’s office during normal business hours.

We love the support our fans show our student athletes but the lack of respect officials are seeing across the state is at an all time low. We want to help! The NSAA will be presenting on respecting our officials on August 10 at 6 p.m. in the old gym. We hope to see you there!

OC is anticipating openings due to retirement in industrial tech. and high school math beginning in August of 2024. With the shortage of staff everyone is experiencing, we want to get this out early in hopes to snag a strong candidate early. Please help us spread the word!
