When students become the teachers, lessons come to life! These 8th graders taught a lesson on kinetic energy and used a race car to help apply it to a real life situation!
Students in the afterschool program released their butterflies today. They completed a butterfly observation journal and watched them grow from caterpillars to butterflies.
Miss Hartwell was our first "Teacher of the Day!" in Kindergarten. She taught us how to make rainbows out of Fruit Loops and marshmallows. Great job Miss Hartwell!
Kindergarten recently went on a class field trip to the Rose Theater and then to a park to eat lunch and play!
These hard working
students completed their first marathon.
"Teacher of the Day" #2 is Miss Guill! She taught us how to make Root Beer Floats. They were yummy! Terrific job Miss Guill!
Mr. Penke taught us how to decorate a pot and plant a flower seed today! He did a super job!
First graders that are finished early are filling their time by working on bat research and presentations!!

On May 9, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. a meeting conducted by Oakland-Craig Public Schools will take place at the office of the Superintendent located at 309 North Davis, Oakland, NE. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend nonpublic schools and home schools which are within the Oakland-Craig district for the 2023-2024 school year. Parents of a home-schooled child or a child attending a nonpublic school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attend a nonpublic school within the boundaries of Oakland-Craig are urged to attend.
