100 days of learning! We celebrated with several 100 day activities! Building 100 cup castles, fruit loop necklaces, number puzzles, 100 gum ball machines and 100 licks of a lollipop! It was a fun day!

Art 3 students experimented with color to create a vibrant Fauvist portrait inspired by artist Henry Matisse. Texture was created with brushstrokes and color was contrasting and unnatural.
We are 100 days smarter in 1st grade! We celebrated with 100 piece Lego creations, 100 cup towers, 100 lollipop licks, 100 piece Lego creation, 100 Froot Loops necklace, 100 flats building, 100 day coloring, and 100 day glasses!

OC is sad to announce that our beloved Ms. Robin has decided this will be her final year at Oakland-Craig Elementary. As a result, we are looking for someone to serve as the Elementary Secretary beginning in the fall. We would also consider training full time in late spring, early summer. Recently the sixth grade class has been studying plant and animal cells in science. They got a little peek at the microscopic world looking at different tiny insect parts.
