The 6th grade has been studying thermal energy transfer, and how the property of water will act as a protective barrier for substances. The cup with the water turned black on the outside, but the cup without water burned up.

The OC 5th graders have been working on water quality and distribution in science. Our project was to create a homemade water filter.
