Due to the current and forecasted blizzard warning in effect for Burt County, Oakland-Craig Public Schools will be closed tomorrow (January 15th) with all school activities cancelled.
Due to concerns about Covid-19, the boys and girls JV/Varsity basketball games with BRLD scheduled for Friday, January 15th have been postponed to Thursday, January 28th. The JH game scheduled for the 28th has been moved to a 4:00pm start in Lyons.
First grade is working on tens and ones this week.

Kindergarten is learning about weather around the world. Today we packed a suitcase for the weather in Canada.
1st grade is getting back into the swing of things this week! Working collaboratively sorting pictures into categories and working on expanded form in math!
There will be no morning junior high weights tomorrow, Thursday, January 7th. Both junior and senior morning weights will take place on Friday, January 8th.
These students are loving slime time!
The elementary Christmas concert has to be taken down soon due to licensing. Watch it before Monday the 11th or you'll have to have your kids sing it to you solo!!!!

Due to inclement weather, all O-C school activities and youth practices have been cancelled or postponed for the day. Stay safe!
Due to weather conditions, O-C youth practices are cancelled for the remainder of the day.
The 9-12 Winter Dance scheduled for Jan. 16th has been postponed, with eventual cancellation likely. We will continue to monitor C-19 levels for our district and make a final decision at a later time.

Our older students used a bunch of recycled materials to design something with 10 items or less. Among the projects were a birdhouse, parachute, and raft.
