Tonight’s rosters:

After school students enjoyed playing putt putt golf in the hallways at school during the chilly first half of the week.

Burt County has moved to the Orange level on the most recent health dial. O-C Public Schools will operate in the orange for our COVID-19 protocols. To avoid exposure to outside sources during lunch, consideration is given to closing campus for lunch. If campus is closed during the lunch break, students would not be able to leave school grounds during lunch and all students would either bring food from home or eat at school.
As a reminder, both breakfast and lunch at school are FREE to ALL students for the entire school year.
The administration is going to wait another week to determine if a closed campus will be necessary and to give families time to make arrangements if they choose to have their child bring food from home.
We will make a decision based on the latest information by November 6th on how to best proceed for our students.

We made taco pizza for cooking club today.

“The title of my art piece is ‘A Yankton Summer Night’. The elements that stick out the most are color, texture, and shape. Without the boats' imperfect shapes and the glossy shadows, the art wouldn't be as unique in my opinion. Color is shown in the boats, texture is shown by the oil pastel, and various shapes are seen as you glance at it.” - Senior Ashten Rennerfeldt

“Since it’s my senior year, I wanted to create an art piece that really means something to me. My mom and I have always been really close and I don’t always have the words to explain my love and appreciation. Art is a great outlet for any and every emotion, and can even help you share an idea or claim.” - Senior Josh Monson

Oakland-Craig Elementary is looking for substitute paraprofessionals. If interested, please contact Jess Bland at jessbland@ocknights.org or 402-269-5248.

It’s typical to tie multiple shoes in a day, but this one was anything but typical and had me thinking this Kindergartener gets the trophy for their knot making skills!
