The 6th grade has been studying thermal energy transfer, and how the property of water will act as a protective barrier for substances. The cup with the water turned black on the outside, but the cup without water burned up.

The OC sixth grade participated in a ledger art activity with Omaha Nation art teacher Eddie Encinas.

On Thursday, October 31st, Oakland-Craig High School art students had the opportunity to partake in Celebrate Creativity workshops sponsored by the Joslyn Art Museum and Omaha Symphony. Working to discover their own artistic talents, students explored music, visual art, theater, creative writing, and technology. With personal schedules designed individually for each participant, students enjoyed professionally led workshops of their choice, a tour of the Joslyn Art Museum, and a live concert experience with the Omaha Symphony Chamber Orchestra.
