8th grade Careers & Leadership welcomed guest speakers this semester. Ronda Ras with the ESU's Cultural Connection grant assisted students with building their resumes. Stacey Keys with 4H & Nebraska Extension took students through their Leadership Summit. We thank them so much!
The library would like to thank OC retired teacher, Dawn Anderson for her generous donation in memory of Dona Nelson and Linda Murray. Pictured are their great-grandchildren enjoying the books purchased that are now available in the OC elementary library.
The 6th grade took their annual field trip to the Nebraska Indian Boarding School as a part their unit on Native American Boarding Schools.

Congratulations to our OC artists who brought home 31 ribbons (most ribbons awarded in the conference) from the EHC Art Show held in Clarkson. Well done excelling in a wide range of art media and showcasing your originality. High Distinction ribbons were given to Naomi Gahan in watercolor, Elijah Gahan in collage, Abby Paul in mixed media, Caulin Johnson in acrylic, Lyndsey Johnson in acrylic, and Grace Wallerstedt in acrylic. The art will now be on display in the elementary library and hallway.

The Oakland-Craig Trivia Night has been postponed due to the lack of registrations. We will try to find another date as this was a super fun event last year.

OC is looking for teams for Trivia Night on Friday. Individuals can sign up for $25 each as well. Please email Jess Bland at jessbland@ocknights.org or call/text 402-269-5248. If we do not have enough registrations by tomorrow afternoon, we will have to postpone.
OC is looking for an instrumental music teacher and potentially an elementary teacher. Please help us spread the word!

The EHC Art Show will be on display April 10-12 at Clarkson High School. Public viewing is from 3:30. p.m. - 6 p.m. each day.
